What fiber counts and pathway sizes do you support?

Quick Answer

PEC supports standard and high-density builds: 6- to 288-strand ISP trunks, 24- to 864-strand OSP ribbon (scalable to 3,456 fibers for hyperscale requests). Pathway options include 1- to 4-in. EMT/PVC conduit, multi-cell MaxCell innerduct, micro-duct bundles, and 12-, 18- or 24-in. overhead fiber raceways.

Detailed Answer

We design and install both outside-plant (OSP) and inside-plant (ISP) fiber pathways as part of our turnkey industrial process equipment services. For OSP backbones we routinely pull armored ribbon cables from 24 up to 864 strands, and we can scale to ultra-high-density ribbon cables of 1,728 or even 3,456 fibers when hyperscale data centers need massive capacity. Inside the building we terminate 6-, 12-, 24-, 48-, 144- and 288-strand trunks and deliver pre-terminated MTP/MPO harnesses for quick patch-panel turn-up.

Pathway sizing is equally flexible. Underground and riser routes can be furnished in 1-, 1¼-, 2-, 3- and 4-inch Schedule-40 PVC, EMT, or RMC conduit; multi-cell textile innerduct such as MaxCell lets us maximize fill in congested duct banks. For high-count OSP ribbon we also offer 10/12-mm micro-duct bundles that accept blown fiber. Inside the white space we build overhead ladder tray and dedicated fiber raceway (12-, 18- or 24-inch) to maintain bend radius and separation from power.

Because PEC self-performs millwright and rigging services, custom metal fabrication, and electrical control systems integration, you get a single, accountable partner that can trench, pull, splice, test, and certify your data-center fiber plant without disrupting production schedules. We furnish Tier-1 test reports and as-built drawings so your network team can commission links with confidence.
